Working. Apples APFS replication utility is still not currently capable of replicating a Big Sur System volume. You can switch to the Apple hypervisor under Hardware - CPU Memory - Advanced Settings of your VMs settings, works for now until Parallels can fix it with an update. In light mode the Big Sur menu bar appears to stay dark which causes the iStats font to be unreadable (dark text on dark background). Update: They both work fine but opening files directly from Lightroom into Photoshop results in a disk error. Update 2: The drive error is resolved by allowing full disk access for both apps. Lightroom slows down a bit after a while, but working just fine. Forklift works but reports wrong system storage. Mamp works. Both Chrome Firefox work. Has anyone tried running Unity, GitKraken, Rider or Visual Studio. My assumption is other jetbrains products work too but I dont currently have them. Anyconnect Vpn Client Is Not Compatible With Parallels Desktop For Mac And YouThat may be entirely unhelpful, now that I remember xmarain has become Visual Studio for mac and you probably dont mean VScode. Regardless, most things that dont have kernel extensions should work without any issue. For anybody interested, launching from the command line fails with: ImportError: Framework CoreServices could not be found which may be a quickly solvable issue for somebody more familiar with python than I am. Edit: spent some more time digging, still not a python expert, but its failing while trying to jump through the kernel extension Dropbox uses. I cant seem to allow that extension in particular (or its failing due to internal errors) despite getting the VMWare, Intel, and other extensions loaded properly. Edit again: seems Dropbox still hasnt properly notarized their kernel extension; ing laziness 2 years after it became apparent this would be an issue. I had Big Sur installed just in time to join 2 zoom meetings. But. it is much slower to connect in Big Sur. VMWare Fusion vms start up with a Not Enough Physical Memory error even though there is ample memory allocated in settings (and worked prior to BS update).
